Shipping and Return/Refund/Exchange Policies

Your order will be shipped within 2-4 business days via USPS First Class Mail or Priority Mail, depending on the weight of the package. Items that are made to order, such as face masks, may take up to 6 days to be shipped.

Our shipping cost is based on weight, and those rates are set by the USPS. We do not inflate our shipping rates, because we think it's annoying when businesses do that! Very light packages, such as those containing earrings or masks, usually cost around $3. Priority Mail packages cost closer to $7-8. Orders over a certain dollar amount are eligible for free shipping regardless of the weight.

For Christmas gift orders, please place your order before December 10 in order to ensure timely delivery. For personalized items, please order before December 7.

For non-personalized items, we have a 30-day return policy.* (For personalized items, see below.) We will not be able to offer you a refund or exchange after 30 days from the date of purchase. Non-personalized items purchased between November 22-December 24 will be eligible for an extended 60-day return policy.

To be eligible for a return, your non-personalized item must have been purchased from Hickory and Elm and be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging (if applicable). In some cases, we may require a copy of your receipt or proof of purchase. Please note that shipping is non-refundable. We will not be able to refund the shipping cost of your purchase.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If/when your refund is approved, it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7 business days. You will receive the full value of your original purchase price (not including shipping).

*Exception: face masks are not eligible for returns, seeing as they are a personal product with hygienic uses. If you have a problem with a mask, please contact us ( so we can make it right.

Please note: Personalized items with spelling or typographical errors may be eligible for return/exchange within the aforementioned time frames only if the error is ours. Please check and double check your spelling, punctuation, dates, etc. on personalized items before submitting. If you discover an error within a short time of your order being placed, please email us at with the subject line CORRECTION and the correct info in the body of the email.

Return shipping
To return your product, please mail your product to 3513 Elm Drive, Temple TX 76502, United States. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Please use a trackable shipping service and/or consider purchasing shipping insurance when shipping your items back to us, as we cannot be responsible for packages that get lost in the mail. It helps everyone sleep better at night!

We are happy to replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you would like to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and we will send you instructions for exchanging your item.
